Welcome to Wombling

Wombling® is a non-profit social enterprise based in Norwich, Norfolk (UK).

With our primary focus on People and Planet, we provide: consultancy services; 'reskilling' workshops; item reuse/rehoming events; environmental awareness raising projects and campaigns.

Wombling Campaigns

Wombling campaigns on a range of issues relating to environmental issues like climate change and fracking; health and well-being; protecting valuable services; and much more. Some events are organised and run by Wombling, and we also attend events arranged by other groups and organisations.

Wombling Sale Room It is with regret that we have now discontinued these events. Our last Wombling Sale Room event in 2012 was on Saturday 13th October. Thank you all for your support for the Sale Room event, you have helped to recycle and rehome a massive quantity of items. If you would like to be updated with our new initiatives you can subscribe to our newsletter.	Wombling will continue operating our other projects and adding new services.

Wombling Workshops	Our Wombling Workshops currently run as stand-alone learning events, though we have plans to develop this further to include a wider programme of events and learning opportunities. We are currently inviting interested local makers, producers and crafters to contact us.
We're encouraging and promoting all skill learning, but at the heart of the project is a desire to help equip communities with the basic hands-on practical skills required for daily living in an age of peak-oil, climate change and economic disaster. By learning to do more for ourselves we become less reliant and more capable. Empowered and confident to take on new challenges in our daily lives.
